Building the Future: Robotics Education for Children and Youth

We have impacted 2,136 children and youth- almost half are girls. We want to multiply the number of children learning from robotics.

We Won in South Korea!

In three months with the Marina Orth Foundation, these 13-year-olds learned the foundational knowledge of electronics, mechanics and programming, spring boarding them to a Bronze Medal victory at the International Youth Robot Competition in South Korea, facing the best young people in the world.

Robotics champions Maria Isabel, Juliana, Brahian, Daisy, and Mariana became the heroes of their home districts in Medellin.

Maria Isabel is Now an Expert in Robotics Programming

Maria Isabel demonstrated an incredible ability to use technology in a practical and fund way by building and programming robots, designing and printing in 3D, and creating web pages.

The most impressive thing is how Maria Isabel learned to be aware of her surroundings and take advantage of the elements she can find and “upcycle” them for her creations. She does not limit herself to incorporating circuits and purchased parts, but she is capable of reusing materials that others might consider trash.

Throughout the construction and programming process, Maria Isabel has developed a variety of soft skills, including how to handle frustration, cultivate patience, and maintain unwavering perseverance as key elements to overcome any obstacle.

We Benefit Rural Populations

We reach children and youth in rural areas where physical access is difficult, the education offered is basic and the opportunities to learn modern industrial technology are scarce.

We Solve Real Problems

Juan, a businessman who owns a flower farm in La Ceja, is seeking engineers to develop automated solutions for his business.

His goal is to be able to find partners close to his business, thus facilitating work for both the company and the collaborators.

What if we continue to train children and other young people so that in the future they can be employed at companies like Juan’s?

Where Robotics, English and Fun Unite!

At Techlish®, our little inventors learn how to use English at the same time they learn about robotics. It’s amazing! They explore magic words like sensors, circuits, and programming while awakening their love for English and technology at the same time.
